Motherwell came back from a goal down twice to take a point against ten man Accies at New Douglas Park

Well fans arriving at the ground must have been shocked with the team news, with John Ruddy, Yassin Moutaoukil and Shaun Hutchinson all out with Chris Humphrey at right back, Michael Fraser in goal and Stephen Craigan back in the centre of defence!

The first half hour was dominated by Motherwell although Cerny wasn't troubled by efforts from front two Sutton and Jutkiewicz.

The game burst into life just before the half hour mark, Beuzelin committed a clumsy tackle on Jim O'Brien and was harshly shown a yellow card. He didn't learn his lesson and was booked for another stupid trip on Mark Reynolds, to reduce the Accies to ten men.

Motherwell should have scored minutes later when Hastings bundled O'Brien over in the box for a penalty. Ross Forbes took the kick but hit a poor effort that was saved by Cerny.

The visitors continued to dominate and Cerny saved well from Hateley and Sutton and Well were made to pay for these misses when Accies took the lead in 61 minutes.

A Marco Paixao corner was met be former Motherwell man Simon Mensing to head past Fraser.

Once again it was all Motherwell with Cerny busy again saving from Coke and Jennings to keep his side ahead. But a wonder goal from Jamie Murphy brought Well on to level terms, he turned a defender 35 yards out before firing a shot high into the top right hand corner.

It looked as though Well would kick on and win the game but Accies bounce back and looked to have snatched a winner with 9 minutes left. Wesolowski burst down the right and his cross to the far post was side footed home by Paixao.

The young Well side buckled down and scored a second equaliser with minutes left, a Coke cross from the right was turned past Cerny by Jutkiewicz to end a pulsating match.
