Can we beat either of the non League sides?

Scottish Cup
By grabar
December 1 2008
In the fourth round draw of the Scottish Cup made at Hampden today we were drawn to play the winner of the Third Round tie between Highland League side Inverurie Locos or East of Scotland League team Vale of Leithen. Will we be able to progress in January
The ties are due to be played on the weekend of 10th/11th January which gives us a month to sort ourselves out and find some form before starting our latest Cup run.

Our last five games have been a bit miserable for the followers of the Claret and Amber brigade. It started with a creditable defeat at Celtic Park and then a draw at home to Rangers.

Many of us can live with that, but what has happened since has been unacceptable. The performance at Falkirk was awful, and then against Hibs we were embarrassing.

The latest debacle was in Aberdeen we gave away two more cheap goals without really threatening at the other end.

This is truly a test of the abilities of Manager Mark McGhee, after the taking us up on the roller coaster last year we seem to be on free fall on one of the down slopes at the moment.

We need to put an end to all of the rumours about the Manager's own future and also the future of some of our "star" players. Although how attractive people like Porter, Reynolds and Hughes are given the way they have played this season only time will tell.

Hopefully the Cup draw today will give us something to look forward to all the way to Hampden in May.....
