Did we desreve to take a point from Rangers

Rangers boss Walter Smith lashed out at an assistant referee after the goaless draw at Fir Park on Wednesday, but was this really the reason they dropped two points? Or was it down to players on the park, like good goal keeping and poor finishing in front of goal.
I had the pleasure of attending the post match press conference after Wednesday's Rangers game and was shocked to hear their boss Walter Smith pick on the Assistant Linesman.

He seemed to forget when Boyd knocked the ball in the net after being given offside almost everyone had stopped and Smith hardly moved to keep the ball out. Hardly a goal disallowed for offside, more of a goal scored after being given offside!

Was this really the reason the game was a draw, of course it wasn't, the reason it was goal-less was the performance of the two keepers, and the teams strikers. There is no doubt Rangers could've been ahead before the break but Miller's finishing was woeful, as was Lafferty's after the break.

McGregor had to save from Porter but the shot looked to be heading over anyway but in reality it looked as though he should've done better from that range.

The Gers keeper did pull of a fantastic save when it looked as though Hughes shot was heading into the top corner but he somehow kept it out....

In the end I think we were worth a point and maybe Walter needs to be a bit more gracious when his side drops points rather than clutch at the nearest conspiracy theory.
