Motherwell put a dent in Rangers title challenge in this entertaining nil nil draw at Fir Park. Both goal keepers were in excellent form to keep the scoreline blank with McGregor pulling off one great save to stop a Stephen Hughes bending effort going into the top corner.
Motherwell and Rangers fought out an entertaining nil nil draw at Fir Park tonight.

The first chance of the match fell to Keith Lasley but Allan McGregor saved well at the second attempt.

Rangers took a grip before the break and Kenny Miller wasted too good chances after Ferguson had seen two efforts blocked. Miller's chances were blocked by an inspired home keeper on both occasions.

McGregor was the first keeper to be tested in the second half when he tipped over an effort from Porter. At the other end Lafferty had two strong runs from midfield but his finishing failed to match his running.

McGregor then pulled of a stunning save to keep the scoreline level when he turned a Hughes bending effort over the bar as it looked to be heading into the top corner.
