Faz agrees terms for next season
By Sebastian Gibb May 1 2008
14 goal hitman Craig Farrell today revealed he will still be a City player next season. The 25-year-old will put pen to paper and joins the eleven others on the books for next campaign. Colin Walker can now turn his attention to sifting out some decent free transfer targets in time for the friendlies in July.

The former Leeds and Carlisle forward suffered badly with injuries last season but he's determined to come back better next season.  Speaking to the York Press Farrell talked of his injury situation: "There is grade one bruising on my foot - on five different bones. It is not a break, so that's good news. It doesn't sound like anything - a bruised foot - but it's painful and it's a slow process. Hopefully, I can come back fully fit and firing after the summer."

Colin Walker, who today was given the full backing of the York City board said: "Craig will be an important part of my plans for next season. The major concern was that he has had a lot of time off this year. When he has played, he's scored quite regularly but he has had a lot of time off and we have had discussions about that. He is very hard-working, he's very strong and has got pace and is a major asset."
