Walker targets new faces

Improving the squad
By Sebastian Gibb April 28 2008
Colin Walker has revealed he wants to bring in at least four new recruits before the clubs pre-season friendlies in July. With only 12 senior professionals definitely on board for next season, Walker is intent on adding quality to the squad. It is thought he could bring in between four and eight new players before the big kick off in August.

Following the poor showing at Salisbury Walker was honest in his assessment of what needs to be done: "My disappointment is for the away fans.  They've been fantastic all year and that's what they're going home with.  But we're going to get better players in and we're going to have a better team.

Walker continued: "it's about mental strength.  That's what we've got to be better at."
