York have confirmed they will face Barnsley and Hartlepool in July which may complete their pre-season fixtures, having already arranged games against Tadcaster Albion, Leeds Utd and Middlesbrough. The Tykes come to Kitkat Crescent on Tuesday, 22nd July and League One outfit Hartlepool make the trip on Wednesday, 30th July.

Championship strugglers Barnsley reached the FA Cup semi final this season and will provide a good test, while Danny Wilson's side are on course to consolidate their place in League One.
