Match Preview: Yeovil Town v. Huddersfield Town

still absent

After taking on table toppers Brighton in midweek the Glovers now face third placed Huddersfield for the second league match in five days.

Tuesday night's match against the Seagulls ended in the Green and Whites losing out by a single goal in a 1-0 loss but they will have taken heart from the performance which with some decent finishing could easily have swung in Yeovil's favour.

Saturday's game will be no easier however, as the Terriers are undefeated in 2011 with six wins and six draws, if you exclude the FA Cup to Arsenal at the Emirates. A matching 1-0 like the game against Brighton is unlikely with Jordan Rhodes (17 goals), Anthony Pilkington (15 goals) and Gary Roberts (10 goals) all likely to take to the field.

In terms of injuries Craig Alcock should be back in the Yeovil squad after missing Tuesday's game with a septic toe, although Andy Welsh continues to struggle with his Achilles injury which he is now paying to treat himself which earned him praise from his manager.

Definitely absent for Huddersfield are Gary Naysmith and Damien Johnson, and Alex Smithies should travel to Somerset but is likely to feature on the bench.

Earlier in the season the Glovers lost out 4-2 at the Galpharm, despite taking a 2-0 lead in the opening 15 minutes!

If you are not travelling to Huish Park you can listen to the game on BBC Radio Somerset 99.5FM with a match report following later on Glover Lover.
