Match Preview: Yeovil Town v. Peterborough United

still absent

After a disappointing defeat away at struggling Dagenham & Redbridge the Glovers will be looking to once again pull away from the relegation zone with a win over play-off hopefuls Peterborough.

Yeovil are yet to play against Posh this season, and the reasoning for that is that this evenings match is a re-arranged fixture after the initial meeting in December was cancelled due to the bad weather we encountered.

There have been several changes since then with then manager Gary Johnson getting the sack, with Darren Ferguson now back in the dugout after leading them to successive promotions during his first spell.

In terms of injuries, Yeovil will still be without Dean Bowditch who is still struggling with his hamstring injury. The other absentee from Saturday was Andy Welsh, and it is thought that he too will remain on the sidelines. Craig Alcock should continue on the bench, as he is unlikely to dislodge Luke Ayling at right-back.

Antonio German is likely to make his home debut at some point in the game after joining on-loan until the end of the season from Queens Park Rangers.

The last meeting between the two sides was two seasons ago, where the Glovers lost 1-0 at Huish Park before earning a memorable 3-1 victory at London Road, in what was Russell Slade's last game in charge.

Tickets are available on the day but if you are not travelling to Huish Park you can listen to the game on BBC Radio Somerset 99.5FM, with a match report following later on Glover Lover.
