Match Preview: Swindon Town v. Yeovil Town

no return yet

Yeovil Town travel to Swindon this weekend looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games.

If they do manage to do that they will have won three games in a row in what has been a resurgent start to the new year.

Terry Skiverton is unlikely to change anything in regards to the starting eleven such is their form, but they will still be without Craig Alcock (back) and Alex Russell (hip flexor) who will both remain on the sidelines.

Adam Virgo is set to continue his comeback from injury on the bench as he did last week, whilst Jean-Paul Kalala serves the second of a four match ban. However, Skiverton will be able to draw upon new loan signing Oli Johnson who arrived on loan from Norwich City today.

Swindon will be waiting on the pending transfer of Sean Morrison, with the twenty year old finalising his £250,000 move to Championship side Reading to see if he features. Fellow central defender Andy Frampton is likely to miss out through injury, although Alan Sheehan will return after a hamstring injury.

In fact, ex-Glover Kevin Amankwaah may have to play some part such is the Robins defensive disruptions, although the right back hasn't featured since early October.

If the game is anything like the reverse fixture earlier in the season any neutrals attending will be in for a treat, with both sides sharing the spoils in a 3-3 draw at Huish Park earlier this season.

Yeovil won't have fond memories of that game as they through away a 3-1 lead, although they haven't conceded a goal in four games so any repeat of that scoreline is unlikely.

If you're not travelling to the County Ground you can listen to it on BBC Radio Somerset 99.5FM with a match report following later on Glover Lover.
