Owls Linked With Strike Star

Laws aware of bad luck

Sheffield Wednesday are being linked with a bid to re-sign Bartosz Slusarski as Leon Clarke's future remains shrouded in doubt. Clarke is a target for Southend and if he was to leave then Owls boss Brian Laws could go back in for West Brom striker Slusarski who impressed while on loan last season. Even if Clarke does leave for pastures new, Laws still has Akpo Sodje, Francis Jeffers, Deon Burton and Marcus Tudgay on board as his main strikers for next season.

However, Laws is well aware of the bad luck he has had on the injury front and is keeping tabs on Slusarski's situation at The Hawthorns.
