BBQ
The BBQ was a success thanks to the efforts of the Landlord, Landlady, Committee and Andy Wasall who provided the Bouncy Castle. The event raised a considerable amount of money and 15 new members were recruited. The only down side was that the publicity efforts to raise awareness had little effect on the event. More was achieved by word of mouth.
Treasures Report
Rob reported that an account in the name of PRSC was now opened at Nat West Bank, Penistone.
The BBQ had raised over £200 and the membership had so far raised £300 making a total of over £500. £150 was to be paid out for the pin badges which should raise a profit of £225.
Barnsley FC Open Day
• RL to supply transport of equipment on the day.
• Phil Welford to provide table and Gazebo
The table is to be manned as follows:-
11.00 - 12.00 RL & PW
12.00 - 13.00 PR & HR
13.00 - 14.00 AW & AW
14.00 - 15.00 BC & RB
• Each pair to sell at least one raffle book of tickets and recruit as many members as possible. BC to provide recruiting form.
• Penistone Reds Flags to be on display.
• Badges to be on sale on day @ 2.50 each.
• Barnsley FC shirt signed by all the players to be raffled- AW to provide raffle tickets & shirt.
Crow Edge Event
Not possible for this to go ahead as same day as Rotherham Away.

Members are to be contacted regarding away games by BC.
Membership
BC reported that there were now 40 on the database. BC said that we should be looking at 49 before the start of the season. PR produced a basic membership card which was agreed by the meeting. The cards would require a small photo and would be laminated before the next meeting. These could be used in the Barnsley FC shop giving a 10% discount.
Website
PR reported that we were currently using Facebook (search - Penistone Reds), www.tarntalk.com and www.barnsleyfc.org.uk as temporary forums for news and photos. On a long-term basis he was looking at our own website and after his holidays was hopeful of reporting something more permanent at the next meeting.
PIN Badges
PR had designed 2 pin badges and had ordered 75 of each which would arrive and be available for Barnsley FC Open Day. They would be £2.50 each.
Committee
• BC suggested that a further 2 committee members should be appointed. Richard Briggs & Phil Welford were appointed.
• BC stated that all club business should be discussed at the monthly meetings, notes kept of the various actions and persons responsible for those actions. There should be further need for any other contact of individual committee members.
Fixtures
• A minibus was to be hired for the York away game. AW took the names and was to make the arrangements. Those who were going were to pay on the day.
• A coach was to be hired for Rotherham away as 25 wanted to go.
• The pub would be open at 12.00 with the coach leaving at 13.45.
• BC to chase individuals for coach fare - cost £6 per member/£8 non-members
Coach Rules
BC circulated the rules for fans that travel by coach. A copy of this note was to be permanently displayed on the clubs notice-board.
London Tykes
BC suggested that we host a visit from London Tykes at the first home game on 16th August. Meeting agreed and BC was to sort out details.
AOB
• Football Greats website were offering to print a Penistone Reds T shirt @ £15.00 each.
• Barnsley shirts can have PENISTONE REDS printed on back of shirts @ £ 7.50 each. Barnsley Market Arcade
• PRSC to consider sponsoring a ball for a future game.
