The Wolves Are Gathering

Hull City manager Phil Brown is planning on holding contract talks with Stephen Hunt after Wolves bid 4million for his services. The Republic of Ireland international has been linked with a move to rivals Wolves throughout the January transfer window. Wolves have reportedly bid three times for the ex-Reading man this month, with their latest move coming in the last 24 hours.

Brown insists the 29-year-old is not for sale despite their financial plight and he expects the winger to face Mick McCarthy's side this weekend.

The Tigers boss is keen to keep hold of Hunt and has confirmed talks to reward Hunt with new terms have started.

With the next game against Wolves Phil wont want to let him go, but finaces at the club are tight and a bid of 4million could be tempting.

We shall see, i would think to be honest that it will be a very hard move either way, if he picks wrong then he could be back in the championship, but then again both teams could go down. Bit of a dilema for him. Hopefully We will both stay up and Pompey, Burnley and West Ham go down(Sm109)

A further bid of 5mill turned down, not surprised as we cannot let our best players go to relagation rivals.
