Hull put their opening two defeats behind them with a 1-0 victory over Bolton at the KC on Saturday. A Goal from new signing Kamel Ghilas was enough to ensure The Tigers earned all 3 points. New signing Jozy Altidore also impressed after coming on as a substitute.
Bolton missed a great opportunity inside the first two minutes, Johan Elmander raced through on
goal, but he dragged his shot just wide of the far post. Hull 1st effort of the game came in the 12 minute when Ghilas made Jussi Jaaskelainen make a save with a
shot on the turn while Stephen Hunt fired over from 20 yards. Geovanni's had an effort on 33
minutes, again Jaaskelainen was there to push the effort wide. Boaz Myhill was called apuon in the 36th minute to stop
Taylor's deflected free kick and he then reacted well to stop Elmander having a chance from the rebound. Bolton had the final chance of the half but Kevin Davies fired wide.
Half Time: Tigers 0-0 Bolton
Bolton had the first chance of the second half again Kevin Davies with an effort but his header from a free kick went wide. Jozy Altidore came on to make his debut on 60 minutes and made an immediate when his header over the Bolton defence dropped for Ghilas and he smashed the
