Ahead of the game between Hull and Newcastle at the KC Stadium Tiger Talk wanted to get a Newcastle Fans view of their season and the up coming game. As Newcastle have a site on the sports network we again didn't have to go far to find a fan willing to answer our questions. Jconn (administrator) for Tyne-Talk kindly answered the questions and his answers are below.
how long have you supported Newcastle and why did you choose the them?
I have supported Newcastle for over 20 years and it is a family tradition so I had no choice J
What do think of your season so far?
I think we have been inconsistent and for the majority of the season
there have been so many thing goings on that concentrating on the task
in hand has been hard
Do you think Joe Kinnear will be at Newcastle next season?
Hopefully not….but with Newcastle you never know
Given that Hull have beaten you twice at St James park this season and
the sides drew at the KC in the cup do you think Newcastle stand any
chance of coming away with 3 points?
That’s not the way football works is it…..it all depends on which Newcastle turn up
Do you think you will Avoid Relegation this season?
Yes I think we will….barely
Who do you consider your star player?
Based on this season….Bassong
Which Newcastle player has really surprised you this season and performed above your expectations?
Bassong again….he seemed very humble when he joined and seemed content
to wait for his chance….he has since been given that chance and grabbed
it with both hands
Which Newcastle player has really disappointed you this season?
Shola Ameobi…..at least he’s consistent
Which player in the Hull side do you think will cause your side Problems?
Geovanni….he has scored some decent goals for Hull this season and if he has a good game I think our defence will struggle
Score Prediction Hull V Newcastle ?
2-1 to Newcastle
Finally If you could have any Rival Premiership player in your side, who would it be?
Steven Gerrard….I think Newcastle have been lacking a leader for
too long….he has tremendous vision, passing and shooting…..he’s the real deal.
Tiger Talk would like to thank Jconn for his time and wishes Newcastle the best of luck for the rest of the season starting after Saturdays game.
