Stoke pair seal loan moves

Stoke duo Tom Soares and Nathaniel Wedderburn have secured loan moves away from the Britannia Stadium.

Tom Soares has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a one month loan deal. The midfielder arrived from Crystal Palace last year for £1.5 million, but has found first team chances limited.

Soares enjoyed a spell on loan at Charlton Athletic last season, but has yet to figure in the Premier League this campaign.

Nathaniel Wedderburn, who recently made his England under-19 debut, has been snapped up by Hereford for five weeks. The combative central midfielder had a similar spell at Notts County at the back end of last season, but has yet to play for Stoke's first team, despite being named as a substitute in a number of Carling Cup ties.
