Adrian Heath
Stoke host the Austin Aztex in a prestigious friendly this evening. We take a look at Adrian Heath's side:
Miguel Gallardo-Aparicio- Aged 24, Gallardo is probably the most highly rated player in the Aztex squad. He was named the PDL Goalkeeper of the Year during the Aztex's first season.
Nick Noble- Reserve goalkeeper who was previously on the books of Chicago Fire.
Kevin Sakuda- A midfielder, Sakuda initially signed for Montreal Impact in 2009, before deciding the Axtex were the better option.
Kieron Bernard- A bruising centre back who has played for Jamaica at under 23 level.
Salif Diao-Jimenez- A versatile trialist formerly at Stoke.
Ednerson Raymond- Another trialist who is a Haiti international and plays in defence.
Sullivan Silva- Recently named as a nominee for "Rookie of the Year", Silva is an exciting forward who Adrian Heath has high hopes for.

Mike Callahan- A central midfielder who, at the age of 22, still has time on his side to progress further.
Ryan McMahen- Formerly of Kansas City Wizards, McMahen is a versatile midfielder.
Vaniel Sirin- Another Haiti international defender who is on trial. Sirin scored against USA during the 2009 Gold Cup.
Tynan Diaz- A midfield trialist from Victoria Highlanders.
Jarius Holmes- A tricky winger, Holmes was actually born in Japan and has a useful eye for goal.
Nicholas Patterson- Another midfield trialist, this time from Harrisburg City Islanders.
Michael Dello-Russo- Signed for Aztex in July from FC Dallas. He is a defender who hasn't seen much first team action during his career and, at 26, he will want to change that quickly.

Jamie Watson- An attacking midfielder, Watson wears number 77 on the back of his shirt and was signed from the wonderfully named Wilmington Hammerheads earlier this year.
Jean Alexandre- A Haiti international who is on loan from Real Salt Lake. The midfielder notched an impressive four goals from just nine appearances last season, and has six caps for his country.
Eddie Johnson- Born in Chester, Johnson is probably the most familiar player touring England. He was a youngster at Manchester United but spent most of his time on loan away from Old Trafford, most notably at Crewe in 2005. After spells at Bradford and Chester, Johnson decided to move across the pond this year.

Gareth Evans- Another player who may be familiar to local supporters. Evans played under Stoke legend Denis Smith at Wrexham, after signing from NEWI Cefn Druids. Sadly, his career became stagnant at his home town club and he now finds himself in Austin at the age of 22.
