A small crowd had gathered to watch the last training session prior to the must win game, and cheer on there national side at the National Stadium last night. The training session was made open to the public as a thank you for there support over the past year. The training session consisted of the teams splitting in 2 and having a semi competitive game against each other. John Barnes' would look on in dismay as a fight broke out between Stoke City's Ricardo Fuller and Damion and Demar Stewart.

The fracas came about following Demar Stewarts hard lunge on Fuller, Ricci took offense to this and showed his displeasure with a few strong words, and before John Barnes knew it punches where being thrown. Its not clear who threw the first punch, but a much disgruntled Ricardo Fuller least the field following the incident and suggested that he was finished for the evening.

Many Stoke fans will feel angry about this article, including myself. We always worry about the fitness of our players when they go away on international duty and to be reading about a player lunging in during a training session is not encouraging, seeing as how last time Fuller was away he came back injured.

Towards the end of the session is is reported that both Damion Stewar and Ricardo Fuller made a gesture to the support stating it was just there Passion that got the better of them and team Morale is still high and nothing personal was meant by the incident.

Elsewhere former Stokie Graham Kavanagh joins Carlisle on a months loan from Sunderland, and Marcus Hall has been award a Testimonial by Coventry in respect of his 276 appearances including two league goals for the club he played for both before and after his Stoke City days, Well Done Marcus.
