Potters goalkeeper Thomas Sorenson has launched a scaving attack on Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill. The former Villa player, Sorensen has expressed that he felt that Martin O'Neill was trying to ruin his footballing career and also a had personal issue with him.

Sorensen spoke to the Danish press and had this to say about his former boss.

“It stayed personal for him and had nothing to do with football. This summer it was so crazy and insane that I suddenly understood: my manager will destroy my career, He said to me and to others that he didn’t use me because I just wasn’t good enough but at the same time he didn’t want to let me go to another club. He must really have had a down on me personally, because why would he effectively destroy any chances for me to change clubs? I know that Manchester City, Blackburn and Middlesbrough were more or less ready to pick up me, but the course of events were the same. Suddenly I didn’t hear any more from them, nothing happened and I didn’t get an explanation.’’
