Dave Kitson played a different attacking role at Reading and scored many goals and there was an ere of expectation around him at the Brit , but today's Mirror suggests he is struggling to adapt to Stokes more direct play.

Fans are becoming slightly agitated with the player, and so is Kitson as he stormed off when substituted during Stokes 2-1 defeat at Fratton Park.

Upon hearing this Tony Pulis has revealed he still has full confidence in Kitson and believes he will get his first goal soon, despite missing a 1 on 1 against Portsmouth.

"Obviously we are keen to him for score, but it's not the be all and end all with Dave Kitson. He has put a shift in for us in other areas of his game, linking the play and playing his part in our goal at Portsmouth. His time will come."

Ricardo Fuller is not helping Kitson look any better having scored nearly half of all of Stokes Premiership goals this season.

Personally I feel both the press and many fans need to stop judging Kitson on the goals he hasn't scored and look at his work rate and the other aspects to his game , as goals will come. We see Kitson knock a great ball on to Fuller for his goal at the weekend. Kitson will gell and will become a great player for us, these things take time.
