Super Fulham
FA Cup Preview Vs Swansea

Manager Martinez

Fulham take on Swansea on Saturday in the 5th round of the FA Cup. It's not the first time we have played the Swans. There'll be an early kick-off at 12:45, and some may feel we have one of the easier ties of this round. Swansea will be no push over though, newly promoted to the Championship this season they have made impressive headway, sitting in 7th so far.

Swansea made a great display against Portsmouth  defeating the defending Champions, and will be brimming with confidence taking us on at home. Many will remember the crushing of Swansea 7-0 in the 95-96 Cup at Craven Cottage,  Fulham were in Division 3 then and Swansea arrived that day as favourites beng a Division 2 side. It seems unlikley we'll repeat that performance, and a Fulham side dealing with a few injuries and tired international players will have to be at their best to move on to the Quarter Finals. The last time The Whites made it to the 6th Round was back in 2004 losing 2-1 against Man Utd.  To make it to the last 8 would be a great morale booster for fans and players alike.

Dickson Etuhu is injured for Saturday along with (probable) Aaron Hughes and Simon Davies.  This might be a chance for us to see some of the irregulars in the squad, and a chance for them to impress both us and the Manager.
