The Managing Director of Fulham FC David McNally has resigned from the club. Although he has to serve six months notice, he will have no further role within the club. The Club's official website announced the personnel change quietly amongst rumours of a move North to Arsenal.
David McNally is credited with attracting Roy Hodgson to the cottage, and an instrumental part behind the scenes, in Fulham's survival. After joining the club in 2005, he has seen 3 managers and some difficult seasons. He is widely tipped to replace Keith Edelman at the Emirates. It is unclear if McNally resigned or was let go as reports differ, but what will be interesting is where Mohammed Al Fayed will find the next MD.
