Maik Taylor has today agreed a new two year contract with Birmingham which keeps him at the club until the year 2010. His current contract was set to end at the end of the month with other premier league clubs wanting his services for the next season.

Taylor has been the number one at Birmingham for the last 5 years. He has seen the highs and the lows with the club. 

He is now set to take the number one spot again to help Birmingham bounce back in their first season back in the championship.
