By Wayne Shingler June 8 2008
It has been announced in the media recently by Carson Yeung’s right hand man Sammy Yu that Carson is still very much interested in taking complete control of Birmingham. Yeung is currently Birmingham’s biggest individual shareholder owning 29.9% of the clubs shares.

Yeung failed in his first attempt to take full control after he did not meet the initial deadline. Yeung was majorly critisised and huge blame was directed at him for loosing ex manager Steve Bruce.

Sammy Yu told the media, Yeung is still keen to buy the club outright, although it may prove difficult to persuade Chairman David Gold and David Sullivan after last season’s fiasco.

Yu then went on to say, "hopefully one day we can take the club over. We thought that if we get involved in the club at least for some time, then we can take over and guarantee that nothing will go wrong."

So it remains to be seen where this is going.
