An early kick off means an early wake up as Blackpool take on Cardiff City at Bloomfield Road on Saturday at 12:30.
Blackpool Team News Blackpool are without any strikers on the bench tomorrow as Nardiello and Mcphee are still sidelined so will most defiantly be the combination of Burgess and Kabba. Apart from that Blackpool could name and unchanged side that drew 1-1 with QPR. It will be interesting to see weather Larry will go with Vaughan in the middle and Hammill down the left which is what some supporters have said.
Potential Line Up Rachubka Barker, Evatt, Edwards, Camera GTF, Southern, Jorgensen, Vaughan Kabba, Burgess
Man To Watch – David Vaughan Vaughan’s ability to pass and run with the ball is a joy to watch and has the ability to challenge and set up goals. My preferred choice ahead of Hammill down the left.
Cardiff City Team News Cardiff’s win in midweek was their first win in 3 games and so they should be up for this match. They could name an unchanged side which will see ythe likes of Roger Johnson and their new signing Eddie Johnson who signed from Fulham.
Potential Line Up Heaton Kennedy, Purse, R.Johnson, Mcnaughton Ledley, Mcphail, Whittingham, McCormack, Bothroyd
Man To Watch – Jay Bothroyd Released by Wolves in the summer, Jay has scored a total of 35 goals in his Career. He deadly in front of goal and we hope Evatt and Co can stop him at the back.
Last Time Round Last time Blackpool Played Cardiff was April 12 at Ninnian Park. Cardiff won that match 3-1 with goals from Mcphail, Sinclair and Whittingham respectively. Morrell did however clinch a goal back but it was the Home side that claimed victory and became one of the side to do the double over us.
Teams that Day Cardiff: Enckelman, Capaldi, Purse, Johnson, McNaughton, Whittingham, Sinclair (Brown 68mins), Rae, McPhail, Ramsey, Thompson. Subs not used: Oakes, Blake, Loovens, Scimeca
Last Time at Bloomers It was another win for Cardiff in December last season which was capped off by a superb strike by Steve Thompson. It was a dull game which Blackpool could of won but it was Cardiff who took the points back to Wales.
Teams That Day Blackpool: Rachubka, Crainey, Jackson, Parker, Taylor-Fletcher, Jorgensen, Gorkss, Welsh, Barker, Burgess, Flynn. Subs: Evatt, Forbes, Morell, Vernon, Fox.
