Matchday Moments: Walsh vs United

New Feature!
By Rocky64 August 19 2008
Well we love out history here on Tangerine-Planet and it's with great delight we open our doors to a new feature. Basically we look into the Empics libraries to try and find a matchday moment from a previous encounter with our upcoming opponents. So this week, It's Mickey Walsh against Sheffield United.

Walsh is shown here in the division two game against Sheffield United. A seasiders legend who will be featured in another new feature on the site called "Past Masters" so look out for that. If you have any memories of Walsh please leave them on our forum, you never know wemay feature the best ones!

Not that I was there or anything, but my dad was stood right behind his strike against Sunderland. Said that he genuinely thought that it was going wide and was gonna take his head off!

That goal is on youtube, what a goal it was.

You kids now would probably compare it to the goal Ian Morris scored against Scunthorpe. Should be able to get it on that tube thing.
