Not Quite a bakers Dozen!

Happy with his 12?
By Rocky64 August 7 2008
What do you know about the new boys? Well don't worry because we have the ultimate guide to Larry's imported goods. A list which has extended yet again thanks to the signing of Rob Edwards from Wolverhampton. The defender should play on Saturday and has signed a two year deal with an option for a further year. The deal is believed to be worth £275,000.

Marlon Broomes- An unpopular signing with some of the Seasiders faithful. The 30 Year old has played just once in two years before joining Blackpool and has previously struggled with injury. However he can play Left back as well as his natural centre back role, he could prove to be a vital squad player.

Adam Hammill- A midfielder that can play up front. Some suggest he is a replacement for Wes Hoolahan but only time will tell. It's unclear if he'll be a regular in the side but he came here looking for first team experience and will be unhappy if he doesn't get any.

David Vaughan- A £200,000 signing from Real Sociedad. Vaughan can play Left Back although thanks to Dario Gradi he's considered a left winger by most now. Whether he can replace Wes also remains to be seen but Vaughan seems to be a popular signing.

Alex John-Baptiste- A right back or defensive midfielder; who signed from Mansfield Town. He needs to make the step up this year otherwise he'll be considered another failed experiment. But his signing allows for Shaun Barker to return to the centre of defence. At 22 there's more to come from this boy.

Jermaine Wright- The News of The Worlds Key Man for Blackpool FC. Aged 32 he plays in midfield and can operate in defence. His experience will be vital this season but his fitness has concerned some Blackpool Fans.

Steve Kabba- A striker who's played 101 games and scored just 26 goals. Also another one who has suffered with injuries in the past. But he is aged 27 and within a year or two will be hitting his peak. But in our opinion he's nothing more then a squad player.

Mesh Rehman- The first Pakistani International to play in England. That will stop the racist chanting! Well done Blackpool FC! No on a serious level one report described him as "the worst defender in the championship last year". I'm worried about this one!

Joe Martin- Returns to Bloomfield Road for a second spell as a full time player. Impressive when featured last season and will hope he will have more time to prove himself this season, a good signing who will come good.

Mohamed Camara- Joined on loan from Derby County, described to me by a Celtic fan as "Own Goal City". Camara can play centre back or Left Back however his last few clubs he's featured frequently for have replaced him before he's seen the season out!

Rob Edwards- A proven defender who joins for £275,000. An ideal replacement for Kaspars Gorkss according to some. However he was transfer listed due to problems with injury. Hopefully he's over them and can be our rock at the back.

Daniel Nardiello-A Striker who scores for fun! As long as he's in a Barnsley Shirt! It's true he's never scored a professional  goal for anyone other then Barnsley. Let's hope thats still not the case come the end of the season!

Matt Gilks- A proven lower league Goal Keeper who joins from Norwich city where he failed to play a game. However he has fierce reputation after been Rochelle's top catcher playing 176 games for them. He'll be looking to displace Paul Rachukuba from the first team and make that keepers jersey his.

It's been said you will go down but i think that is wrong. I believe when and not if the team gel together you will put in some good displays and may even get a mid table finish. Good to see you have three ex-wolves players there. Hope they do the business for you.
