All Wright at the back?

Is Wright just right?
By Rocky64 July 7 2008
According to reports in todays Blackpool Gazette, Blackpool FC are set to enter into transfer talks with former Southampton defender/midfielder Jermaine Wright following his release for the South Coast club.. The link comes after he was supposedly seen "arriving at Blackpool today for talks".

Wright, A journeyman of sorts, has played at; Ipswich, Wolves, Leeds, Crewe, Southampton and others and brings plenty of Championship experience. Aged 32 Wright is coming to the end of his playing days but available on a free transfer the midfielder/defender may just be to good a player to resist for manager Simon Grayson.

Meanwhile Simon Grayson has been linked to Man Utd after it was revealed that Alex Ferguson's number 2 Carlos Queiroz was off to manage the Portuguese national team. Now reports in the Blackpool Gazette and others suggest Grayson could be on the list to go play number 2 at United!

A few of my mates are Leeds fans and they are all in agreement that Wright did not play well for them and that we have signed someone who is well past his best.

Personally i would like to give him a chance, afterall he has played for some big Championship clubs and his experience could be vital.
