Well it has been officially confirmed by Queens Park Rangers. A bid of £250,000 has been made for Kaspars Gorkss by QPR, who have been reported as offering one player £20,000 a week to join from another Championship side. With speculation suggesting it's Gorkss.

A statement on the website read "Queens Park Rangers Football Club can confirm that a bid has been made for Blackpool defender Kaspars Gorkss." So folks, gear yourself up for the departure of Gorkss. Who could be replaced by former Seasider Peter Clarke.

In other news the Blackpool Gazette ran a story linking us to Sofiene Zaaboub. However in our opinion it was more about his agent trying to get his name out there. I can't seriously see how Grayson would take a risk on a player released by a League 1 club.

Finally Blackpool have been drawn with Macclesfield Town in the League Cup. Macclesfield are now famous for there last minute survival a few seasons ago. Where they loaned numerous Seasiders and signed John Murphy to keep them up. The game is due to be played week commencing 11 August.
