Transfer Gossip surrounds Gorkss

Off To Watford?
By Rocky64 June 6 2008
Over the last 48 hours, the speculation surrounding Blackpool defender Kaspars Gorkss has been immense. With nearly a dozen plus websites and several newspapers, running stories about Kaspars Gorkss been linked with a move to the team that media outlet corresponds to.

Burnley were at one time the favourites to sign Gorkss but it now appears its between QPR and Watford, to battle it out for the star defenders signature. With the Daily Mirror today reporting that "Kaspars Gorkss is set to quit Bloomfield Road"

It describes Watford's as the favourites but Preston, QPR, Burnley, Ipswich, Norwich, Everton and Ipswich are all said to be interested in the 'player as well.

But the interested clubs are now understood to be facing competition from Blackpool FC also. Who have offered Kaspars Gorkss a new contract, if the rumours we're hearing are true. One thing's for sure, with all this speculation about something got to happen. Surely? Especially with a £250,000 release clause in his contract!

Well if Wolves are not in for him or Wes i hope they stay at Pool. Two good players who will help push blackpool in the right direction.

I think Gorkks should stay. Obviously has proved himself, but can he honestly say if he goes to Crystal Palace etc he would get a game every week? Not slating his ability, but he worked hard to get into our first team! Maybe he is willing to do that else where. I wouldnt like to see him go & I'd like to think he'd stay w/ us.
