Questioning BSA! Voice of the Fans? My Arse.

Bloody Sheepshaggers

"Voice of the fans" Thats the motto of our so-called supporters association BSA. However its become plainly obvious that they're nothing more then the Voice of the bu****it and I have to ask for the hundreds who are unhappy with BSA, What is the point of there existence?

They were instrumental in bringing in the so-called banding system last year. Which created a hierarchy amongst some fans and  you can guess what band the committee members were in can't you? Now I'm not having ago but that looked as if BSA were looking after there personal interests before those of the fans which you profess to be the voice of.

This season banding has gone, replaced by a Silver, Gold, Platinum game scheme. Which for me is banding remodeled. Instead of it been season ticket based, we will now be charged more money on the quality of opponent we want to see us go up against. But the truth is these so called "Platinum" games will be games we will either lose or there is overwhelming demand for tickets.

So we're going to see ques again, like we did for Wembley so the whole point of banding if there ever was one has gone. As for this SGP scheme its just a cash cow that hasn't got the interests of the fans at heart. Which I'd expect BSA to speak up about. You watch, when we play PNE away and 10,000 want tickets and we only have half that amount. There will be ques, which for some will mean a day of work, so you then miss a wage and end up paying over the odds for your ticket.

Speaking of tickets we've also been victim to an increase which may have effectively killed off half our support. Whilst turning away younger supporters who can go watch Horwich Scum or Blackburn for cheaper prices.

Where has BSA been for the common fan? Who can't just magic up nearly £500 for there seats. However why should I expect such humility from an association which will ensure there committee is well looked after for next season. BSA needs to start sticking up for fans when things go wrong, We need a voice that is heard and whilst they are the official supporters association it is there responsibility to represent the fans.

F*ck there members, if you profess to be "voice of the fans" you need to represent the fans as much as your committee, your members and yourself. Either that or rename yourself the Oyston Fan Club and change your motto. It's time to start standing up for fans and letting us have our voice again.

In the words of many school reports you "must do better"

However with me not been a BSA member and barred from all there events due to a "committee decision". I suspect that this article will be slagged off and the heart behind it unrecognised. Because as much as I dislike BSA and there politics, I know that we need a voice to stand up to the rediculous dictators at our club. Anyway UP THE POOL
