Gorkks to Rangers? Who is out of contract? & More!

Who Stays?
By Rocky64 May 6 2008
The season has just finished meaning that silly street starts up again for yet another round of rumours. The latest to emerge over the weekend is that Glasgow Rangers and others are said to be chasing after highly rated Latvian defender Kaspars Gorkks.

Gorkks is believed to have a £250,000 release clause, although unconfirmed it is stated in numerous newspaper and Internet reports. This means that the defender who continued to impress last season, could leave on the cheap.

Everton, Rangers, Preston, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Watford have all been linked to him and personally there is no smoke without fire and I just can't see how he can be staying put when there is so much speculation about his future.

Meanwhile 13 Blackpool players will find out there futures tomorrow as they meet with Simon Grayson to discuss whether clauses are triggered and deals renewed. Jackson, Jorgenson, Parker, Tierney, Bean and Wiles are all out of contract and will  find out if they will get a new deal.

Hills, Morrell, Coid, Welsh, Burgess, Flynn and Doughty all have options for another year on there existing deal. They will find out if it has been triggered tomorrow. Stephen Crainey has already had an option activated on his contract due to the number of minutes he's played this season.
