Dickov's Post Match Thoughts

Goal for Dickie!
By Rocky64 April 20 2008
Paul Dickov returned to the side yesterday and with it he returned to form. Scoring his sixth goal for the club with a wicked 25 yard left footed volley. A goal which not only pleases the fans but also pleases Dickov as Blackpool's ticket to ride the championship express next season nears possession.

Dickov said "I don't often get them with my left foot which makes it all the more satisfying. It was a great three points against a hard battling side."

Dickov was elbowed in the eye and went down as if he'd been shot for there man to get sent off, But Paul Dickov a veteran of the game refused to get drawn into the referee debate. Dickov said "I'm not getting involved in the sending off, I got an elbow in the face and that's it."

Yeah what a pity we can't keep him for another season. He's a handful for any defence and more importantly he can score. The amount of work he gets through during a game is fantastic. Good Luck to him for the future. smileys with beer
