Well it's that time of week again when we go all John Craven in our weekly news-round up! so fasten your seat belts as we drive you around some of this weeks top stories. Including interest in Wes, Parker Seaside Career been over, Hills career in jeopardy and find out how the reserves got on!

Lets start with our story on Hoolahan? A series of national newspapers and fans websites are suggesting that Blackpool's Wes Hoolahan has yet another admirer and could be tempted away from Bloomfield Road in the summer.

Sheffield United are the new admirers of the player. Well the new old admirers. Current boss Kevin Blackwell is rumoured to be a fan of the player-just like former United boss Bryan Robson was.

The silver-lining in all this is that Kevin Blackwell's future isn't secured yet but if he does stay at Brammal Lane. It's pretty obvious that an offer for Wes Hoolahan will be forthcoming from the Yorkshire side.

In other news, The Blackpool Gazette is reporting that Striker Keigan Parker will not pull on the Seasiders jersey again this season or forevermore. The player has already expressed a desire to leave in the summer but now he has been forced to quit the seaside earlier then expected as he has to sit at home and nurse injury.

The striker has been ruled out for the rest of the year with an abductor muscle problem. He last played for the Seasider in the West Lancashire derby in March. Parker has made 155 appearances for the Seasiders, since been signed by Colin Hendry and has scored 41 goals.

Another Seasider out for the count is John Hills. It was reported this week that he will sit out the rest of the season with a torn ankle ligament. Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette he admitted he is worried about been unable to recover from his injury or whether he would still be at Bloomfield Road next season.

He said "I had a scan recently on my ankle and unfortunately I'm out for the rest of the season."

The defender added,"The season has been a complete write-off for me, but if I'm still here next season, I'll come back fit and try to take my chance."

Finally we finish this week's news-round with the news that Blackpool Reserves suffered an unlucky defeat this week. Tranmere Rovers proved to be the better side over 90 minutes and won the game 1-2. Youngster Danny Penswick once again as did Simon Wiles and the reserve team forward.
