Green Light for Hoskins to Rejoin Reds

Hoskins: Back at Forest
By The Daily Red April 2 2008
On-loan Watford striker Will Hoskins looks set to return to Nottingham Forest after making progress in his latest comeback from injury. It had been feared that the Nottingham-born hitman, who has made just two appearances since his January switch, would be out of action for the rest of the season.

Hoskins, 21, was sent back to Vicarage Road after a string of injuries just weeks after he checked in at the City Ground.

Forest have an ‘agreed price’ option that could see the Hoskins move made permanent in the summer, but crucially he will be ineligible to represent the club in the play-offs due to the timing of his arrival.

His spell with the club has been dogged by seemingly unfounded rumours of a bust-up with under-fire manager Colin Calderwood.

But the former England U20 star could now be back in contention within a fortnight.

The Reds also have Brett Ormerod, who can play in the play-offs, on loan from Preston until the end of the season.
