Charlton Athletic take on Sheffield United in the '50million match' at the Valley this afternoon. The Addicks are staring relegation in the eyes, and need to pick up some consistancy, pretty soon. But four clean sheets in the last four games at the Valley makes for good reading.

Charlton Athletic and Sheffield United are getting ready to go into battle in the Premiership relegation six pointer at he Valley. United are two poins ahad of Charlton in the table, with the Addicks ocupying the last of the three relegation places, a win would see Charlton leap frog the Blades.

Last time out Charlton where beat at Goodison Park by Everton, whilst Shefield were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Darren and Marcus Bent are doubtful after midweek knocks. Marcus sat out training on Thursday with a hamstring strain whilst Darren had a thigh problem. Hreidarsson and Jerome Thomas are both available for selection again following knee injuries.

Neil Warnock rested a number of key first team players against Mancheter United, so they would be in perfect condition for todays clash. Claude Davis and Chris Armstrong are in line to return to the heart of United's defence, with youngster Matthew Kilgallon returning to the bench.

Jon Stead and Christian Nade are hoping to continue in the side after starting the win over West Ham.
