September 11 2009
England U20s Head Coach Brian Eastick has named his squad for the World Cup tournament which takes place in Egypt later this month.
After two games to prepare for the competition, a final squad of 21 players has been selected and their preperations for the tournament will begin next week.

With the first game against Uruguay coming up on 26 September, the squad will travel to Cyprus for a training camp in order to help them acclimatise to the conditions they will most likely have to play in, in Egypt.

The squad selected contains a number of players who have played for England at different levels in the past, such as Jason Steele, Kieran Trippier, Rhys Murphy, Matthew James, Matthew Briggs, Gavin Hoyte and Andrew Tutte who were all part of the U19 squad which reached the Final of the Euros earlier this summer.
