Manchester Cit manager Sven Goran ErikssonAlthough Sven would of relished the opportunity of progressing further in the F.A. Cup he remained optimistic about the break for the players.

City were of course cruely dumped out of the famous competition, at the hands of Championship outfit Sheffield United, who managed to topple Sven's men at Bramall Lane.

But despite that, the Swede looks on the bright side of things, saying that the team haven't enjoyed a break in good time, so any chance of a rest at this critical stage in the season is welcomed.

The blues' gaffer said: "They have not had a break for a long time, I'm quite sure we will have a fresh team for the rest of the Premier League games".

Also with Vedran Corluka and Elano available for the clash with the Toffees, after completing their respective one match suspensions against Manchester United, Sven will have the hard decision to make.

Change a winning side? Or keep a squad thats done you the business?

Also with young gun Michael Johnson and Mexican international Nery Castillo back in contention for the clash, Sven will have a real selection head ache.
