Since then, Ricky Sbagria has replaced Roy Keane as manager at the Stadium of Light, so the McCarthy again tried to test the waters to entice the player back. That approached has been rebuffed.

The Molineux chief said: “Carlos is staying at Sunderland – I spoke to Ricky (Sbagria) and they want to keep him.”

Glad to see Ricky sticking to his guns and not selling our 1st team/fringe players.

Think Carlos could do a job for us this season, if we can bring better in in the summer then sell him, but not until we have better.
