Keane Admits Interest In Forlan
By Scott Kay March 20 2008
Roy Keane has recently admitted that he is interested in bringing Forlan to Sunderland football club.
Sunderlands link to Diego Forlan has recently increased due to Roy Keane expressing his interest and saying that he could be a summer target.

The Uruguayan player is currently playing for Spanish club Atletico Madrid and has been very impressive. This has began lots of speculation for the ex Man Utd player planning a future move back to the premier league with many clubs reportedly being interested.

Forlan endured a largely unsuccessful spell with Manchester United but he appears to have found his eye for goal since moving to madrid and is now again regarded as one of the most lethal strikers in Europe.

Keane played with Forlan back at United and has spoke out about the speculation. "I think we got linked with Diego last summer as well," he said. "As much as I think he's a top player, I think the priority for us at the moment is to stay in the Premier League."

In my opinion i dont think it would be a good signing. He is a good player yeah but money would be a problem. We need to stay up first then plan for next year.
