22-year-old Phil Bardsley has joined Sunderland on a 3 and a half year deal worth up to £2 Million.
The young right-back is yet another playey that Roy Keane has signed from Manchester United. He follows in the footsteps of Paul McShane, Kieran Richardson, Liam Miller, Danny Higginbotham, Dwight Yorke, Andrew Cole and Jonny Evans.
Bardsley has made a few appearances for United in the Champions League and played eight Premier League games in his time at Old Trafford. Phil has spent a large portion of his career away on loan, spending time at Royal Antwerp, Burnley, Rangers, Aston Villa and Sheffield United.
Appon signing for the Black Cats Bardsley said He said, "Sunderland is a great club with a great manager and it is an honour to play for them".
