Whitehead "sorry" after Sunderland collapse at Everton

Sunderland skipper Dean Whitehead has apologized to the fan in the wake of the Black Cats 7-1 loss at Goodison Park on Saturday.

This loss was the biggest for 25 years for Sunderland.

Whitehead has just made his comeback after 3 months on the side-lines and said he still can't put Saturday's experience into words, he also said it was hard to take and he understands what it means to the fans and the amount of money the fans spent to see the game.
