Going into this game i said it is a "6 pointer" for us. Nothing but a win is good enough.

We started the game of extremely poorly, no attacking threat, desperation football and long balls up the field to Jones. Jones brought everything down but he had no-one near him to lay the ball off to.

The 1st big chance of the game fell to david healy, a miss up at the back between gordon and higgy and higginbotham cleared and give the ball to david healy with an open goal from 25 yards out.

The referee had a shocker first half. Every 50-50 challenge he was giving a freekick to fulham, we defended most of them quite well.

The first goal of the game went to simon davies of fulham. Bad decision by the ref and fulham had a freekick. Gordon was too busy shouting at his defense by the time the freekick was taken he was too far off his line and out of position and it was a goal. We need to cut out these stupid errors or we dont deserve to be a premiership side.

In the second half sunderland came out attacking but still played poorly and struggled to control the game. Halford got sent off 2nd half with a 2nd yellow card which i thought was very harsh to be honest, a slight tug on the shirt, freekick but nothing more. Kamara was trying to get halford sent off all game, halford took an elbow in the face which broke his nose and still halford is getting punished for it. Very poor refereeing performance.

Fulham had a disallowed goal by kamara, he pulled back nyron which was very similar to the sending off of halford. So where was kamaras yellow card?

Sunderland created a great chance with Jones playing the ball over his head putting leadbitter through. Leadbitter shouldve scored but lets be fair to the keeper and grant, grant hit it with power on target and the keeper spread his body well.

Sunderlands goal came from a grant leadbitter cross which was a glancing header from our main man Kenwyne Jones. He was awesome today!

In the last minute sunderland shouldve won it, stokes through on goal on his left foot from a tight angle but he hit it with hardly any power right at the keeper!
