Former Manchester United player Kieran Richardson has put pen to paper on a 4-year-deal at the Stadium of Light.
The 22 year-old England internation compleated a medical and agreed personal terms with Roy Keane today. He play his first game this Wednesday when Sunderland play their first pre-season friendly against fellow North-East side Darlington.
Richardson spent 5 years at Old Trafford but he has now been won over by ex-team-mate Roy Keane and was more than happy to sign for Sunderland.
Richardson becomes Keane's 4th summer signing after Greg Halford, Russel Anderson & Michael Chopra signed from Cardiff last week.
Richardson has 5 England first-team caps and socred twice on his debut against the USA in 2005 and he also played for England in the Euro Under 21's championship last month.
