Crofts equals club record

Gillingham captain Andrew Crofts has equaled Ian Cox's previous international cap record whilst at Gillingham, having won his 11th cap for Wales last night against Iceland in Reykavik. John Toshack's young Welsh side came away with a victory thanks to an impressive strike from Manchester City youngster Ched Evans.

The midfielder equaled Ian Cox's cap record following his short substitute appearance in Iceland on Wednesday night.

The young Gills captain also captained the Wales Under-21 side before breaking into the senior side, and earnt his 11th cap for Wales coming on as a substitute for Wigans Jason Koumas.

Crofts has the chance to break Ian Cox's cap record on Sunday afternoon, as John Toshack's men travel to Rotterdam to face Holland.
