Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has confirmed the six players that he will not be offering new deals for next season. Leroy Griffiths, Craig Stone, Kevin Maher, Barry Cogan, Georges Ba and Kelvin Jack will depart Priestfield. Meanwhile, Youngsters Luis Cumbers and Andy Pugh have agreed new deals with The Gills.

Leroy Griffths departs Priestfield after twenty-four appearances in a Gillingham shirt, scoring twice against Notthingham Forest and Port Vale.

Youngster Craig Stone will not be retained by Stimson after just six appearances for The Gills this season, but did impress whilst on loan at Brentford earlier this season.

Georges Ba signed on a short term deal with a chance to impress for a contract next season, but failed to make any real impact.

Barry Cogan was signed by former manager Ronnie Jepson last summer from Barnet, but didn't figure in Mark Stimson's plans and was sent out on loan at Grays Athletic in the latter part of the season.

Kevin Maher impressed during his short spell at The Gills whilst on loan at Priestfield but amongst interest from other League One teams, Maher will be departing following The Gills' relegation to League Two.

Kelvin Jack made just eleven appearances during his two season spell at Priestfield due to persistant injuries - although when he did feature he did show promise of a decent 'keeper.

Meanwhile Luis Cumbers and Andy Pugh have agreed new deals to stay at Priestfield.
