Notts County have had to call off their Bass Vase match against Burton Albion on Tuesday due to a small number of minor injuries.

Notts County have informed the Bass Charity Vase committee of their decision, and with no youth system, Notts have been unable to back up the injuries to play the match, and therefore will not be able to compete.

And with a friendly at Meadow Lane on the same evening to Sheffield United, it would be difficult to field a team for the match.

Notts had lost their first game to Nottingham Forest, in our first of two proposed fixtures in this tournament, and this will now see Nottingham Forest playing Burton Albion in this Thursday’s final.
