Rudderless Sunderland go to Old Trafford after Roy Keane's departure, what do the BettorLogic boys make of it all? Read on...
They can scarcely do worse than the three previous caretaker bosses who made the trip to United and lost by an aggregate of 14-1 -- and the solitary away goal was scored by a United player. Caretaker bosses usually prove why they are just that, going W2-D9-L20 away and W1-D2-L11 in their first match in charge (losing all nine and all five respectively, at the Big Four).
Even neglecting the caretaker factor, this still looks a home banker -- and possibly value at [1.19]. Sunderland have lost 14 of 16 matches away to sides in 12th or higher since their promotion, including all five at the Big Four (losing 10 of 11 against the Big Four home and away). United famously slipped up in a game against Sunderland they supposedly couldn't fail to win in 05/06, but since that season have dropped points in only seven of 44 at home against all teams -- including three of 25 since the start of last season (one of 12 against bottom half sides).
