Barbarians v Australia Odds - Baa-Baas Boom!
By Paddy Power December 2 2008
The difference in the...eh...experimentalness of the Barbarians and Australia sides for their Wembley clash is like Jake White experimenting with using a hand-grenade to remove a tree-stump, while Robbie Deans just grabs a load of bottles from under the kitchen sink, mixes them randomly and hopes something explosive is created. A tentative analogy perhaps but while Deans drafts in fringe players with little or no international experience, like Peter Kimlin and James O'Connor, to his Australian squad, the World Cup winning Jake White won't exactly be worrying about how debutant Richie McCaw is going to do. There are some who believe that the 18 year-old O'Connor could steal the show but with such an awesome array of talent in the side it could be a Barbarians White-wash! Wed 7.45pm SS2
