Munster v New Zealand Odds - Need to Doug Deep!
By Paddy Power November 18 2008
Three decades, a song, a book and one Irish play on, New Zealand return to the scene of one of their biggest shock defeats. A repeat of that faithful day in 1978 at Thomond Park may just spurn the men from Munster to ask Steven Spielberg to direct a feature length movie of the victories which will in turn give rise to an unforgivable amount of nostalgia not seen since England's 1966 World Cup victory. Munster's Kiwi winger Doug Howlett will face the Haka which he performed on 63 occasions for his country. "Back home it's not uncommon to Haka back which is probably the correct response," he said, opting against the ritualistic Saturday Night Fever dance performed in nightclubs around Limerick. Can Munster Hak it against the All Blacks again? Tues 7.30pm RTE2/BBCi
